Tamandua

Tamandua Facts

The tamandua's nickname is "stinker of the forest" because it can smell awful. A baby is carried piggyback until it's almost as big as its mother. A tamandua's mouth is no bigger around than the top of a pencil. It catches insects with its long sticky tongue. A tamandua stands upright like a bear when it's scared.
