Sloth

Sloth Facts

A sloth spends most if its time hanging upside down from branches. It moves so slowly that it takes a whole day to move to another tree. A sloth can climb and even swim, but it can't walk! On the ground, it drags itself along with its claws. Insects graze on the green algae growing on the sloth's fur. One sloth had 170 moths and 978 beetles living in its fur.
