Jaguar

Jaguar Facts

A jaguar looks like a big leopard. It's the largest American wild cat and weighs about 300 pounds. It isn't a social animal, and it goes out of its way to avoid fights. It's the only big cat that doesn't roar. Jaguars are super swimmers and often hunt in the water. They catch large fish, turtles and even alligators. A female jaguar has up to four cubs at a time. They stay with her until they're two years old.
